Saxdor, the Finnish brand that is now part of Malibu Boats, has started building boats in the United States. The first US-built Saxdor 320 GTO has been completed at Malibu’s facility in Fort Pierce, Florida, and series production is now under way. The 270 GTO follows shortly, and Saxdor says more models will move across over time.
Until now Saxdor boats have come from Poland and Finland, and those yards keep running. For American buyers, building closer to home should, in principle, mean shorter lead times and less shipping risk, though Saxdor hasn’t said anything about prices or delivery times yet.
Dealer reach grows too
Saxdor and MarineMax have agreed to bring Malibu Boats dealers into US regions where Saxdor’s long-standing dealer isn’t present. The brand has also recently added partners in Canada, Argentina and the Caribbean.
350 GTW debuts at FLIBS
At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (28 October to 1 November 2026, Bahia Mar, FG Dock, slips 23 to 27), Saxdor will show the new Saxdor 350 GTW, an updated version of the 340 GTWA. The changes Saxdor lists:
- a revised wheelhouse where both sliding doors open fully back, opening the whole side
- an optional L-shaped sofa and more wheelhouse flooring choices
- a redesigned helm console with built-in air conditioning
- more storage and other improvements in the bow cabin
- a new option of twin Mercury Verado V10 350 hp outboards
Six boats will be on the stand: the 460 GTC, 350 GTW, 400 GTS, 400 GTC, 320 GTO and 270 GTO.
What’s next
The 460 GTS, shown for the first time at Cannes in September, is in final testing and is due in the US in mid-2027. An aft-cabin version of the 460 GTC is also in development.
Our take: If you’re looking at a 320 GTO or 270 GTO in the US, ask your dealer whether your boat will be built in Florida or Europe, and whether that changes the delivery date.
