Simrad has taken the Simrad NSS Version 3 out of Beta and published it today (September 20th 2013)

I don’t know yet if the Multi fuel tank issue has been corrected or not but I’ll try to get it installed today and report back. But there are a lot of nice new features! 🙂 Simrad is running full steam ahead.

    • Navionics
    • Insight
    • Insight Genesis
    • NV Digital Charts
  • Mercury VesselView display integration – display SmartCraft data through your NSS with a VesselView 4 or 7 onboard
  • Fusion Link Audio Server support – control a Fusion-Link device on the NMEA 2000 network from your NSS display
  • Use with an OP40 controller to remotely operate all navigational functions from another part of the boat
  • New Navionics chart features including depth range highlights and dynamic tides and currents
  • Configurable filtering for GPS COG and SOG to smooth fluctuations in received data from sensors
  • Add a GS25 antenna and use the new configuration menus to take full advantage of the GS25 features
  • Receive and view AIS SART transmissions
  • NMEA data logging – record all NMEA 0183 TCP data to the NSS internal memory.
